Vessel discharging at APM Terminals Maasvlakte II reported water ingress in cargo holds 3 and 5 during routine hatch lifts. Initial visual inspection by terminal staff suggests caking and discoloration of the soybean meal cargo over an estimated 1,200–1,800 MT. Voyage Santos → Rotterdam, vessel sailed through severe weather off Cape Finisterre 11–13 May. Hold ventilation logs and weather routing records have been requested from the master. Cargo insurer notified by consignee within 24h.
